ACADEMIC PHILOSOPHY
Our belief is that education is not merely the transfer of information, but the cultivation of wisdom, character, virtue, curiosity and purpose in which adults in each child’s life have the opportunity and responsibility to contribute. Each child is created with distinct strengths, interests, learning styles and developmental needs and we believe education should honor and support those differences and be pursued with purpose and intentionality. The founders of Anchor Point have chosen this course of education for their own children in pursuit of rich, meaningful, robust academics and discipleship which plays a large part in the encouragement and support we provide families to do the same.
At Anchor Point, our role is to equip, support and encourage families. We are here to provide guidance, accountability and be an educational resource to families as they make decisions to best serve their children and their academic needs. We value educational approaches that cultivate strong character, responsibility, resilience and intellectual growth alongside rich academic opportunities and are here to support and encourage you to do the same.
